Why should I choose a pet sitter instead of pet boarding?

Choosing a pet sitter over a boarding facility is often the preferred choice for pets that are anxious, elderly, or have strictly established routines.
Familiar Environment: Familiar smells, sights, and sounds.
One-on-One Attention: A sitter focuses exclusively on your pet.
Medication Management: If your pet has a complex medical schedule (e.g., insulin shots or specific heart meds), a sitter can ensure these are administered at the exact time required without the distractions of a chaotic kennel environment.
Dietary Stability: Many pets refuse to eat or develop digestive issues (like stress colitis) when moved to a facility. A sitter ensures they eat their usual food from their own bowl on their normal schedule.
Customised Exercise: Unlike boarding, where “playtime” is often scheduled in blocks, a sitter can tailor walks and play to your pet’s energy levels.
Crime Deterrent: Having someone enter and exit your home (or stay overnight) makes the house look lived-in, which deters burglars.
No Logistics: You don’t have to worry about drop-off or pick-up windows. You can leave for your trip and return home immediately to your pet without an extra trip to a facility.

Microchipping

All done in the comfort of your own home. I know sometimes your pets can get stressed just at the mere mention of the vets so I like to help them be compliant with the law and have their own microchip (and even cuddles afterwards).
